Community Care Rx is an independent community pharmacy located in Malvern, AR - right in the heart of Hot Spring County. We love to serve our community by providing fast, friendly, and helpful service. Our motto is "Little Pharmacy, Big Heart." At Community Care - your pharmacy becomes your family.

We are committed to ensuring the well-being of our patients. We offer a wide range of healthcare services, including medication management, health consultations, and wellness programs. At Community Care Rx Pharmacy, we prioritize personalized care and strive to make a positive impact on the health of those we serve.

We have a convenient drive-through and prescription drop-off window. Inside the pharmacy, we have consultation/immunization rooms, a testing room for flu/strep/COVID-19, and a weight loss consultation room. Our pharmacy has a wide array of OTC products including medical equipment, diabetic supplies, vitamins, and supplements. We also have a boutique section that includes custom-made t-shirts, jewelry, purses/bags, hats, and small gift items. There is a $Dollar items section that includes cleaning and household goods.

Our pharmacists are known to provide prescription and OTC consultations, child and adult vaccinations, administer an array of shots (B12, testosterone, birth control, antipsychotic, allergy, GLP-1), assist with diabetic glucose monitors, and consult on insurance.

Our History

We have a rich history in the city of Malvern. The history of Community Care Rx started with Guy and Sheila Collins - Shelyn's parents. They purchased Sullivan's Drug and then opened Collins Pharmacy in 1992. It was located in the Walmart shopping center in the corner building beside Huckaby's Grocery Store - close to our current location. Shelyn and Sheila worked together at that location until selling to Fred's Pharmacy in 2005. Fred's Pharmacy stayed at that location until they built a new store and relocated to Main Street (now the Malvern Police Station). In November 2018, Fred's Pharmacy suddenly sold out. This is when Shelyn made the decision to open her own family-oriented independent pharmacy. She rushed to complete all the necessary paperwork - and miraculously was able to start filling prescriptions on December 7, 2018. In the beginning, Community Care Rx was located in a small outlet store across from our current location. After the pharmacy grew, we were able to build our current building and move to this location in June 2020. We have expanded the building since then and we are always looking for ways to expand our services and improve our workflow. Owner / Pharmacist in Charge
